You Imagine, We Create

"My favorite part of creating tallit is working with my clients. Whether its a student, mother, grandmother or bride, its great fun to hear their ideas and  bring them to life. I love hearing from them when they receive their tallit.  I'm so proud to be part of their special celebration and knowing they will have their tallit for many years to come."

Caryn has two grandchildren Orly and Avi. Whenever they are available they spend a weekend with their Saba and Safta Caryn. It's so rewarding being part of their lives.

Caryn enjoys traveling with her husband and loves spending time with her family and friends.

Also, she enjoys her two dogs, Max a four year old labradoodle and Scarlett  her twelve year old Schnoodle.
Caryn loves to bring your imagination to life through creating one of a kind Judaica gifts and custom tallit.

When she's not spending time embroidering, shopping for fabrics, or designing embroidery artwork, she's working on new designs and ideas. She's always looking for unique fabrics, trims and jewels to use for her custom tallitot.

Her husband rabbi Michael Mayersohn officiates Jewish and Interfaith wedding ceremonies throughout Southern California and many destinations. Its a great opportunity for her to keep up on her passion for photography. It's also great to be exposed to current color trends  which she uses for her creative work.

This past October her daughter got married to a wonderful young man. She created a beautiful blush color lace fabric with sweet petite roses in each corner and atara. She's in the process of creating two additional lace tallitot for weddings or Bar Mitzvah ceremonies.

Providing a custom tallis for students preparing for their Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah ceremony has been so rewarding for her. She loves bringing their ideas to life and helping them to express their individuality.

Her wedding couples find that by creating a custom tallis for their wedding ceremony is a way to tie in their color theme. Having their rabbi bless them during their ceremony wrapped in a tallis that they helped to create is very special. It is also a wonderful gift idea. .

Inspired by Kate Spade, who used beautiful fabrics on the outside of her designs and an entirely separate design on the inside.  Caryn uses two pieces of fabric plus sometimes a third one on her custom tallit.
"When you commission me to create a Tallis, I start by listening to your ideas and vision.  We talk about how I can select fabrics and accent materials to create a tallis that reflects their vision."
